Introduction – Job Recruiting and Evaluation This paper will summarize three scholarly articles that highlight the job recruiting, selection methods, and evaluations process. The first scholarly article is from the Small Business chronicles in which the author describes how to build a recruitment plan. Very concise, this article delineates eight steps to build a very effective recruitment plan. The second article is by Robert Bullock, and describes three of the most effective selection methods on the market at this time. The third article in this review is titled, â€Å"How to Conduct Employee Evaluations,† and describes the benefits of effective employee performance evaluations. How to Build a Recruitment Plan The first article in this analysis was from the Small Business chronicles. Essentially, the author highlighted how important recruiting ideal candidates is, whether the organization is looking to fill a top executive position or an entry-level position. The article delineates several steps to find the best candidates, all as a part of building and following an effective recruitment plan. Basically, the author postulates that with the proper plan in place, the organization can proceed through the recruitment plan smoothly, finding the candidate that fits the position impeccably, without wasting time analyzing those who are unsuitable (Simmons, n.d., para 1).
